Originating from the pristine of Himalayas, the Chitra Rajma hails from the foothills of Uttarakhand bringing the serenity and pureness of nature along with it. Growing in organic matter rich, loamy soil, the beans are grown sustainably at higher altitudes and carry the taste of exclusivity of their origin.

Appearance: Symbolic to its name, the rajma is uniquely speckled and spotted which typically appears as red lines running along the light brown and whitish surface of the medium sized beans giving them a distinct and easily identifiable appearance.

Taste or flavour: The beans soak easily and are quite easy to cook. It acquires a very soft and almost mushy consistency on cooking resulting in a smooth creamy textured curry brimming with the subtle aroma and tingling sweetness.

Nutritional effects: The Chitra rajma apart from being a tasty culinary, is also the source of multiple nutrients.
