Derived from the natural environment of Nagaland, through shifting cultivation, the Kholar rajma/Naga kidney beans is amongst the 22 varieties of rajma grown in the region.

Appearance: The beans are small to medium sized exhibiting light brown to creamish colour with few having a somewhat striped appearance.

Taste or flavour: The colourful Naga Kidney beans impart the best unrefined earthy taste when simmered on a low flame for the long time with the rich aroma.
